April 1st marks the start of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Since 1983, April has been designated as the month when communities around the nation come together to prevent child maltreatment and enhance children’s well-being. This month also reminds us, how important it is for families and communities to work together to prevent child abuse and neglect.
