CAREGIVERS
Support and comfort your child. Let them know that you are going to talk with a professional who will help keep them safe and get them help.

CHILDREN
It can be hard to tell other people about problems in your family. Telling an adult you trust takes a lot of courage. It is important to keep telling until somebody believes you and helps.

PROFESSIONALS
Connecticut law requires certain citizens to report suspected child abuse and neglect. These citizens are referred to as mandated reporters. They are people in professions or occupations that have contact with children or whose primary focus is children.
